Terms and Conditions

  1. Royal Resorts Points membership and its benefits are offered at the discretion of RRP, L.L.C. RRP, LLC and its program participants have the right to change, limit, modify or cancel Program Rules, regulations, rewards, and reward levels at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of points already accumulated, the ability to use accumulated points, or the ability to obtain certain rewards. RRP, L.L.C. and its program participants may, among other things: a) change the way to earn Royal Resorts Points or increase or decrease the number required for a reward; b) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel any reward; c) add blackout dates, limit availability of rewards, or otherwise restrict the continued availability of rewards; d) change program benefits, program participants, conditions of participation, rules for earning, redeeming, retaining, or forfeiting points, or rules governing the use of rewards; e) change or cancel its program participants rewards. The accumulation of points does not entitle members to any vested rights with respect to points, rewards, or program benefits. In accumulating points, members may not rely upon the continued availability of any reward or reward level.
  2. Participation in the Royal Resorts Points program is subject to the terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies and procedures (“Program Rules”) that RRP, L.L.C. may, at its discretion, adopt from time to time. RRP, L.L.C. may amend the Program Rules at any time without notice. RRP, L.L.C. has the sole discretion to interpret and apply the Program Rules.
  3. The accumulation of points is subject to the Royal Resorts Points Program Rules. Each member is responsible for reading the newsletters, account statements, and other Royal Resorts Points material in order to understand his or her rights, responsibilities, and status in the program.
  4. The rewards structure is subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at RRP, L.L.C.´s discretion, with or without notice. The number of points required to redeem any reward may be substantially increased, any reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any reward or its redemption may be imposed at any time.
  5. Additionally, RRP, L.L.C. has the right to end the Royal Resorts Points program by providing written notice to its members six months in advance of program termination. In that event, the right to earn points and redeem for rewards may end six months after notification, no matter the extent of member participation in the program.
  6. After applying to the Royal Resorts Points program, a membership number will be assigned to each applicant. Upon receiving this number, an individual becomes eligible to earn points. As proof of eligibility, a Royal Resorts Points number is required when receiving or redeeming points.
  7. An account may be closed at RRP, L.L.C. discretion if no points are accrued during a 36 (thirty six) month period. All points in the account will be forfeited at that time. Royal Resorts Points will expire after three years of the date of issue.
  8. The terms and conditions of affiliated programs control the redemption and distribution of the points earned or transferred.
  9. Royal Resorts Points, are earned through participating in Royal Resorts Points may be subject to tax liability. Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with the receipt or use of Royal Resorts Points, credits or rewards is the responsibility of the members.
  10. Current program participants in Royal Resorts Points:
    i. Royal Club Vacations (operated by Caribbean Island Travel, L.L.C.)
    ii. Life Extension Foundation
    iii. Sky Med
    iv. DESCAR
  11. In the case of fraud or abuse involving Royal Resorts Points, including but not limited to points and reward use, RRP, L.L.C. and its program participants have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, and all points and certificates earned through Royal Resorts Points may be forfeited and the account closed.
  12. The awarding of Royal Resorts Points and the redemption of Royal Resorts Points rewards certificates are void where prohibited by law.
  13. Royal Resorts Points members may be provided with the ability to use usernames, passwords, or other codes or devices to gain access to restricted portions of the site or other sites (“access codes”). The content contained in such restricted areas is confidential to RRP, L.L.C., and is provided to you for your personal use only. We reserve the right to prohibit the use of such access codes on your behalf by third parties where we determine that such use interferes with our site´s operation or results in commercial benefits for other entities to our detriment.
  14. Royal Resorts Points is operated by RRP, LLC.
  15. Every Royal Resort Points enrollment includes permission to market for both email and phone calls. This permission can be rescinded and Royal Resort Points will honor the change.

  16. Conversion of the current Royal Resorts Points will be at 50 to 1.
  17. Benefits are exclusively available to Royal Resorts members. RRP, LLC reserves the right to add or modify these exclusive benefits at any time. RRPoints will expire upon cancellation of Membership(s).
  18. For purposes of redemption, the initial value of Royal Resorts Points is 50 Royal Resorts Points equals 1 USD. Actual redemption value is determined at the time of redemption. RRP, L.L.C. reserves the right to change redemption award levels, merchandise and services.

ACCOUNT ACTIVITY STATEMENT

  1. Royal Resorts Points members are responsible for ensuring that points are properly credited. If proper credit does not appear on the member´s activity statement, the member should send RRP, L.L.C. a missing point request email to: Royal Resorts Points Customer Service. Allow approximately 15 to 45 days for the points to be credited to your account. Requests to add or modify points must be received by March 31st following the yearly statement.
  2. Statement periods run from January 1st to December 31st.

DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS

  1. If more than one membership number is assigned to an individual, he/she will only receive points for one account. Duplicate accounts will be cancelled.

EARNING POINTS

These points values may change without notice.

A member is eligible to receive points for:

  1. Purchase of a Friends and Family Package – You will receive Royal Resorts Points for the purchase of a Friends & Family package at Royal Resorts by one of your referrals through Royal Club Vacations.
  2. Purchase of a Royal Resorts Membership –You will receive Royal Resorts Points for the purchase of a new Royal Resorts membership by one of your referrals. The number of points you receive varies and depends on the resort and the size of the unit (villa, suite or room) bought by the new member.
  3. Travel Services – You will receive 1 (one) Royal Resorts Point for every $10.00 (ten USD) spent in designated travel services purchased through Royal Club Vacations (Royal Club Vacations is operated by Caribbean Island Travel, L.L.C.).
  4. Life Extension Foundation program is available only for Royal Resorts Points enrolled members, as long as they buy Life Extension products. Points will be awarded as follows:
    a. 50% on membership voluntary enrollment, which equals 25 Royal Resorts Points for every dollar paid for Life Extension Foundation Membership.
    b. 25% discount on retail price of Life Extension products plus 15% in Royal Resorts Points, each dollar equals 50 Royal Resorts Points.
    c. 15% in Royal Resorts Points on Life Extension membership renewals, each dollar equals 50 Royal Resorts Points.
  5. SkyMed program is available only for Royal Resorts Points Royal members, as long as they buy the SkyMed services. Points will be awarded as follows:
    a. 10% on purchase of insurance for emergency air evacuation and related services to USA and Canadian travelers, each dollar equals 50 Royal Resorts Points.
  6. From time to time Royal Resorts Points may add new ways to earn points. Additional benefits and program updates will be posted on the website.
  7. Please allow 15 to 45 days to deposit Royal Resorts Points in your account.

REFERRAL ELIGIBILITY

In order for a Royal Resorts Points member to receive points for a referral, the individual or couple referred must satisfy the following criteria:

  1. Referrals must have a prior association with the Royal Resorts Points member.
  2. Referrals must be registered with RRP, L.L.C. prior to participating in a sales presentation at one of the facilities of Royal Resorts. Notification of a referral less than 24 hours prior to the sales presentation renders it ineligible for Royal Resorts Points. In the event that an identical referral name is submitted from two different sources, only the first source to submit the name is eligible to receive Royal Resorts Points. The Referral Fee applies when the referred member has: signed and returned his contract to the Membership Office, has paid 1 st monthly payment or cashed out and the Referrer has his membership in good standing.
  3. Referrals cannot be current Royal Resorts members or guests. A member cannot refer another member, dependant spouse or minor child of a member. Points are not eligible on multiple sales when a member is buying one the memberships.
  4. Any names obtained through this program may be used for the purpose of soliciting sales of timeshare intervals. The program is neither an offer to sell nor a solicitation to purchase. The program is offered only to individuals subsequent to their purchase of a timeshare interest, Trial Ownership, Program membership, or other business dealings with program participants and is not made as an inducement in connection with the solicitation of a sale.
